A prenatal program for parents-to-be and parents of newborns up to 9 weeks from due date.
Â
Learn how to lay a healthy foundation for sleep right from the very beginning.
Â
You're being proactive, taking baby classes on feeding, diapering, bathing and umbilical cord care. But they glossed over newborn sleep in your prenatal classes.Â
Â
Â
Do any of these sound familiar?
I get it.
I've been in your sleepy shoes...
I took ALLLLL the classes. Even signed hubby up for Daddy Bootcamp. And with my first, I felt they had prepared me because he was a pretty easy baby.
Â
Then #2 came along. Cute as can be, but with some health issues and a VERY different temperament!
Â
My two were completely different as newborns (and continued to be very different as they grew up!) and I wish I had had someone to tell me what was normal, what to expect and what I could do day-to-day to help us get through those first couple of months with a newborn.
Â
That's me. I can help get you through that newborn fog, where you don't know what day it is or when you last showered! Together we can lay a healthy foundation for sleep for your newborn.
Kim, I didn’t know how I was going to go back to work after maternity leave waking up every hour.Â
Â
Working with you before I headed back to work was the best thing I could’ve done – I enjoyed the last couple of weeks of maternity leave so much more since I was getting more sleep and I could function at work when I got back. And the best part is that my baby loves sleeping in his crib. A miracle after him only sleeping on me for so long :) Thank you!!!

Introducing
The Newborn Foundations Program is for parents-to-be and parents of newborns up to age 9 weeks who want to know what to expect about newborn sleep and guidance and tips on teaching their newborn healthy sleep skills from the start. This is NOT a sleep training program.
Â
Here's what is included in your 1-1 coaching:
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
I took all the classes and read all the books, and I quickly realized how much I didn’t know about infant sleep.
Â
Those first few weeks (months!) are so hard, but you helped make them easier. You gave me tips and guidelines so I would know what I should be doing (and how to avoid all those “traps” that new moms fall into like using the swing all the time or holding your baby for each nap). I knew that what we were teaching her now would pay off later so she would be a healthier sleeper – and we would all be getting more sleep soon! Thank you for helping us teach her to be such an amazing sleeper!

A friend had worked with Kim with her toddler and mentioned she offered a newborn program when I told her none of the prenatal baby classes we took - all five of them?! addressed sleep. My husband and I had the foundations call before our son was born - when we weren't yet sleep deprived! - and could absorb all the info. Then those two follow-up calls were a godsend to know what was happening with our son's sleep was normal and she reminded us of a few tips we had forgotten! Once he was ready to drop night feeds and start sleeping through the night, the process was so much easier because we already had laid a great foundation.

Frequently asked questions
Here are a few answers to our most common questions:
No! Sleep training can happen when your baby is at least 3-4 months old. This is a program to lay the foundation for healthier sleep skills.
It's up to you! The benefit of doing it before baby arrives is that you'll be less sleep deprived with fewer distractions and can make sure you set the nursery up properly. The benefit of doing it after your baby arrives is that the information will be fresh in your mind and you'll have an idea of your baby's temperament.
If you'd like to schedule additional calls or a week of email, those are available for an additional fee.
Â
Families should start the program before their baby is 9 weeks old so they have a few weeks to use the follow-up calls before their baby is 11 weeks.Â
I just want to say congratulations on your new baby. It's such a big transition bringing a newborn home and it'll feel like you're in survival mode for a bit.

But it gets better. Â
